One artistic journey.

My career began as a professional dancer with companies including Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) and Batsheva Dance Company. I have toured and performed in approximately 32 countries, working across diverse artistic cultures, choreographic languages, and creative environments.

Since 2011, I have co-founded and developed CLOUD/danslab in The Hague, an independent platform for artistic research, creation, experimentation, mentorship, and professional development. Through CLOUD, I have supported emerging artists and contributed to a context that has hosted hundreds of artists, residencies, and creative projects.

In 2017, I also co-founded HUBS Immersive Festival, a cross-disciplinary platform bringing together performance, visual art, technology, sound, and participatory formats to create shared immersive environments for artists and audiences.

Alongside my artistic practice, I have taught artistic research in higher education since 2016. At the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, I teach modules including Create Your Own Work and Solo for HBO 3 & 4 students, and I have also taught intensive artistic research modules at ArtEZ.

My teaching and mentoring focus on artistic autonomy, embodied intelligence, compositional rigor, critical reflection, and sustainable creative processes. I am interested in helping artists transform intuition into clear artistic choices while developing a practice that is genuinely their own.

I also develop practice-based methodologies, including Flow Fusion, integrating movement research, somatic attention, improvisation, breath, and creative training into one coherent practice.

Across my work, I am interested in how artistic practice can become a field for research, transformation, exchange, and meaningful connection.
